LOVE this post! Very cool list. Good luck becoming a certified swinger – you know, that sounds wrong! šŸ™‚

The first bullet hits home. The Mark Sisson article is very well written.. Thanks, Raj!

You dare criticize agave!! But they sell agave at TJs and it is there in “The Thrive Diet”. I am actually supposed to question things and not take them for granted? Oh, that’s sorta an extension of #1. Arghhh!
Super post, and the last point, about commenting, is great. I am gonna steal it. Have fun at the cert!

Love this line: “You water your plants. Then why do you soda yourself?” Awesome – great series.

Love this series! Keep ’em coming.

My favorite: You think eating meat is morally wrong. Then why do think leather couches/shoes/purses/car seats are aesthetically awesome?

Drives me nuts every time I see/hear someone being proud ‘cos theyre vegetarian or vegan or pescatarian or whatever else there is!

I am reminded of all the advertisements on instant noodles which say “Taste bhi, health bhi”

Did not know that about agave. Didn’t even know of agave till that brother of mine pointed me towards it. huh!
I think my answer to your first q would be because something has stood the test of time?
Oh and Certified Swinger? DUDE! Will you be imparting lessons on that too?

Thank you for the post on Indian breakfasts. I found your blog through Jugalbandi, I am S.Indian, overweight and for years have eaten the kind of breakfast that is on your ‘hitlist’! now I am educating myself about a lot of things, portion control is one of them. Meals are a constant struggle for me as I am the primary cook and it is very hard to cook what everybody likes every meal (2 kids) so any meal ideas are always welcome. Thank you once again and continue the good work. if agave is is not a great substitute, is stevia a better one??

Thanks for the link about Agave. I too was one among those who thought that it was the best alternative to sugar.

Came here blog hopping from Jugalbandi. You have a very neat and motivating blog out here. I need to lose around 25 lbs more..lost 25 last year and then I really dont know what happened to me and my laziness. Get exhausted with 2 kids and a job and running in between for their classes and activities. But I should stop giving excuses and take care of myself. Your blog is very inspiring!

Amazing is the only way I can describe ur blog,so much info and that too, sensible info not some bullshit that many so called health focussed blogs have. Today is Friday in Australia and I have a day off work, but since last night,I have been reading your blog, for a straight 11 hours.it’s that riveting, pls keep up the fabulous work raj, now I’ve got to go get that fish oil and start menu planning! Good work mate.cheers
